Hello and Happy New Year!

Patera,Michele-2022ed.jpgAs we begin the new year, I want to first thank our members for the support of our chapter, our volunteers for their time and talent, and a special thank you to our Past President Jerry Gusmano who in 2022, delivered excellence in Leadership and best in class f2f events.

For 2023, I look forward to team collaboration on the chapter initiatives, as presented at the December Annual Business Meeting. 1st Annual PMIGL Project Management Day of Service®

WeCanHelp.jpgWe're Looking for PMs Willing to Volunteer and Nonprofits in Need of PM Assistance
On March 4, 2023, PMIGL will host its first annual Project Management Community Day of Service. Modeled after PM4Change, together, we will help nonprofits address their most critical projects and initiatives.

The Project Management Day of Service pairs each nonprofit with a team of two to four experienced project managers. Participants spend the day scoping a project to address a critical need of the nonprofit, leaving the nonprofit with an actionable plan. This is an extremely high-impact and meaningful way for project managers to give back to the community. To learn more and apply, visit the Outreach page.

We're Looking for Volunteers

PMIGL is always looking for members who want to be more involved with the chapter. This is a great way to support the growth of the chapter and earn valuable PDUs for re-certification. We are currently in need of volunteers for a number of committee projects in progress. Our current openings include the following:

  • Director, Speakers
  • Manager, Merchant Services
